There is a time and place to race and doing it on public roads is not the right place and is stupid and irresponsible. I used to be be a big advocate for street racing but when you take it to a track it is a whole new level and the adrenaline rush you get feels great.

make- infiniti? dang didnt know that a s14 was an infiniti?
model- g20? sorry man a s14 is a nissan and its a 240sx but hey i do learn some stuff from you..

what a ricer is, having and s14 is also called a infiniti g10, and track time is better than light to light, even though that is what your doing lets see theres a light tree red,yellow,yellow, then green that means go right? hahaha and when you finish you see more lights just that it shows your time and you just ran a mid 14 if lucky? idk but maybe you can teach me..

Yes I am a post whore. I really don't care what you think. It's obvious this thread is turning to S#!+. I am tired of the flame war BS. If you want to race me take it to a track it is the responsible thing to do. You have your opinion and I have mine. Thanks for screaming I am so glad I got your attention. I'll keep driving my P10 the way I do and avoid the gayness of dealing with cops, having it towed, wrecking it, or showing up a POS civic. Street racers can have all of that. Having a P10 that looks clean and runs clean is not an everyday experience and I will keep mine the way it is without all the drama that street racing can bring along.

well you replied to a 1 liner with paragraphs and pictures. I've supported you in some stupid argument against yonatin's immature blabbering but you seem to have taken the Yonatin route in this thread.

I'll race you in my TOW car if you want. It only runs 15's at high altitude with no turbo.

This would have been funnier if you drove the 240 but well i don't need to pick on the 240 guy as you seem to be doing it already.
Best way to tell someone to race at the track is to tell them to race at the track. Making fun of them doesnt prove your point.

The racing in Japan video is scary if you really think about it. The KSL thing, IMO the idiot who took these videos was racing along with these cars. The VW looks like it wasnt paying attention during NORMAL driving and swerved like ALL of us have done before. What kid with a nice car do you know that would try to damage their own car to push someone off the road for "no reason"
If the VW did something on purpose then its obvious the "chase snitch car" was driving with a LOT of road rage. My guess is he would go to jail before anyone else racing that night.

I race at the track besides maybe a few times a year a preplanned race. The only car I race this year on the street was Pasquin's DSM in the middle of the night when we randomly met while both out tuning our cars. 1 pull and it was over. My normal driving rules when "in boost" even if not going fast is to avoid passing other cars because you can't control the behaviors of other drivers. Nobody knows what you are doing if they are outside your car. If you go from 30mpg to 50 in an instant nobody outside the car is going to expect something like that or think twice about making a lane change etc.

Ive only really raced a few cars ever on the street. I just don't feel comfortable with it because people's brains seem to turn off when competition gets the better of them. No reset buttons! Goofing around with a friend is one thing but racing some random road rager is not a good idea. I got really mad once when a BMW kept pacing me. I pulled away from him to avoid him, he caught back up and kept doing it some more so I just took an exit at the last second to ditch him. Being paced like that IN TRAFFIC bothered me more then anything else I can remember when it comes to "street racing."

well actuallly I guess I did race a couple diesels on university ave in front of the Provo Town center but I wasn't even in gear until I realized the diesel next to me was brake torquing. And I didn't hit more then 50mph and all I did was wait for 2nd gear as he passed me, spin 2nd gear passed him and hit the brakes. ....and there were no cars on the street for some reason. He had it coming because the line of 3 trucks rearranged themselves just to line the fast truck up with me at the light. When you get the road rage going, thats when things get stupid and then its probably a good thing that we have certain laws. I seriously doubt I would have gotten a ticket in that situation, the truck, YES. Were BOTH of us acting stupid? YES

I cant really understand what you are saying in half of this but I enjoy being at the track even in my tow car. I just don't race it anymore since I have something else to play with.

Slow cars are also a lot more fun at sea level since my tow car runs 14's there :) Home sweet home.
Track racing would be a lot more appealing if someone else ran the drag strip here. Its a LOT of fun in seattle since the track workers etc are so nice. They actually enjoy letting "kids" race rather then grump about how its a waste of time. Getting tech inspected and the only thing the guy says is "HAVE FUN! and be safe" is very nice.
